Mii amo, a destination spa at Enchantment

Mii amo, cradled in the rocks and trees of the Boynton Canyon and Coconino National Forest of central Arizona, is a place where opposites come together in harmony. This red-rock haven combines contemporary architecture and spa techniques with ancient Native American history and tradition. At this luxurious Sedona hideaway, old and new, indoors and outdoors, sky and land are brought together with breathtaking results. This small and private destination spa is separate from the much larger Enchantment Resort of which it is technically a part. It manages to remain a tucked-away jewel. Mii amo means 'journey' and reflects the spa's commitment to guiding its guests along a personalized journey during their stay. Five 'journey' programs are offered: Spiritual Exploration; Healthy Lifestyle; De-Stress Mind & Body; Rejuvenation of Mind & Body, an Anti-Aging Approach; and Ayurvedic Balance. In a typical day at this spa, you will awake in one of the 16 casitas that adorn the rugged and lush terrain. After welcoming the day with a Hatha yoga class, you'll be ready for a soak in an outdoor Jacuzzi under a turquoise sky, a watsu water massage, or time alone in the meditation room. It is this holistic focus on the blending of work on the inner self and decadent pampering of the outer self that makes Mii amo unique.
