Sundara Inn & Spa

Sundara Inn & Spa, which takes its name from the Sanskrit word for 'beautiful,' offers many of the characteristics of a destination spa in an inn setting. The 26-suite boutique hotel, with a 45,000-square-foot spa, offers guests a healthful retreat in the midst of Wisconsin Dells, which is known for its natural beauty, including high sandstone bluffs overlooking the Wisconsin River. Sundara allows guests to connect with nature in a secluded setting. and was designed with 'organic style' architecture, including terraced slopes and winding roads, meant to blend with its natural surroundings. The spa is tucked away on 26 wooded acres. The 1,300-square-foot pool features a rock waterfall, pond, and stunning views of the forested Wisconsin countryside. Completed in 2003, the spa is a retreat for couples and single adults looking for a little downtime, so children under 18 are not allowed to be overnight guests. Those 16 or 17 years of age may enjoy spa and salon treatments when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
