Mona Spa and Laser Center is a medical spa offering relaxing and results-oriented treatments amidst contemporary, Scandinavian-influenced decor. The staff, composed of qualified estheticians and massage therapists under the supervision of an M.D., aims to improve clients' appearance while offering a nurturing spa environment. The facility's four treatment rooms are augmented by a consultation/photo room and a spacious retail area where guests can purchase several top skincare product lines. The spa's medical director performs all BOTOX® and Restylane injections as well as sclerotherapy (injectable vein therapy). In addition, a number of advanced laser modalities are performed by fully certified technicians. These include Tri-Active Laser Dermology, an FDA-approved treatment for cellulite reduction that integrates suction massage, low-level laser heating, and targeted cooling; Laser Genesis 3D, known for effecting skin rejuvenation regardless of skin tone by stimulating collagen growth; and laser hair removal using Solera and CoolGlide technologies. Solar Genesis pulsed light treatments are available to address skin discoloration (not recommended for darker skin tones). These medical procedures can be combined with specialty spa services for optimal results. The Signature Miracle Copper Lift includes Tri-Active Laser Dermology and Laser Genesis Solar Rejuvenation along with a copper-infused, collagen-stimulating facial treatment. Also offered are the Signature Teen Facial (formulated to prevent acne breakouts), Deep Cleansing and Detoxifying Facial (often administered in conjunction with laser skin rejuvenation and microdermabrasion), and Double Oxygen De-Aging Facial, which uses pure oxygen gas to counteract the effects of environmental exposure on the skin. Available massage modalities include shiatsu, deep tissue, pregnancy, Reiki, and lymphatic drainage. Massage treatments involve all-natural body oils from the June Jacobs Spa Collection, which are sold at the spa boutique along with Peter Thomas Roth, Mark Lees, Young Blood Mineral Cosmetics, and other high-quality product lines.
