The Hammam Medical Spa

The Hammam takes its name from ancient Middle-Eastern healing sanctuaries modeled after bath-houses dating back to the ancient Greeks and Romans. Its philosophy integrates stress relief, health, and beauty enhancement services in a soothing spa atmosphere. Prior to their scheduled appointments, guests enjoy a selection of complimentary services, including use of a eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna, Jacuzzi, and a wading pool with a cool cascading waterfall and a rain mist vapor. Owned and medically directed by Frederick T. Work, M.D., the 14,000-square-foot facility occupies almost an entire floor of an historic building with views of the Atlanta skyline. The medical spa offers treatment rooms numbering 15 in all, including a couple's suite that offers guests full- or half-day escapes with their significant other. The facility houses licensed and accredited ambulatory, full-day light surgical suites, a medical day spa, an anti-aging center, and a steam-therapy and hydrotherapy center referred to as The HAMMAM, from which the entire facility derives its name. Under the supervision of an experienced medical team including a plastic surgeon, licensed aestheticians, and weight-loss specialists, guests enjoy a wide range of treatments. Microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, photo rejuvenation, BOTOX�, collagen, and Restylane injections are offered, among other cosmetic procedures. Anti-acne therapies and cellulite-reduction treatments provide further cosmetic options. A full spa menu rounds out The Hammam's offerings. In affiliation with the American Center for Age-Management Medicine, The Hammam offers biological age monitoring, hormonal and biochemical assessment, and hormone therapy. Weight-loss programs take a comprehensive approach, encompassing nutritional alteration as well as body scans and blood diagnostics.
