Giuliano Day Spa opened in 1994 with 5000 square feet of salon, retail, and spa treatment areas.Quickly establishing itself as "The Grande Dame" of Newbury Street, Giuliano was by far the largest and most complete spa – salon location in the area and came to represent the high standards by which other spas would measure themselves.
To keep pace with its ever-growing client base, the spa added yet another 4,500 square feet of space in May of 2001. Through it all, Joyce remained vigilant in pursuing new ideas and cutting-edge technology. Such that, in 2005, she revitalized and refocused the entire facility to create the contemporary and cutting-edge G2O.
The spa's new name would recognize water as an essential element of our daily lives while simultaneously offering a creative reference to water's basic molecular structure. The connection would be more than appropriate.
