| I purchased an amazing spa package (value $249) on Groupons for $79. I bought two. One for me and one for a friend. What a disappointment! When we arrived, they did not offer robes, the 50 min. massage was only 30 min. My friend's was the same. The facial was only a partial and did not come with extraction as it said it would. My friend's was the same. The pedicure was to be a signature pedi but we both only received the express pedi. Lastly, lunch, which was the highlight of the visit, sat for over 30 min before I was able to get to it. The TBLT sandwich was delicious, however, it said it would come with fruit and showed up with fries. My friend's was identical. Needless to say, 30 min. cold fries are yucky! After seeing the spa sold over 900 Groupons it seems apparent to me that the director is looking for ways to save money. Sadly, nothing but disappointing!!! Also, I tried on each individual service to let that person know I wasn't receiving what I paid for and received only excused and non compliance. For the services they did provide I would have been happy giving three stars as it was average, but the fact that they had deceptive marketing practices/dishonest follow through I bumped them down to one star. I don't enjoy giving such a negative review but hopefully this will open their eyes and give the rest of the people who purchased this deal exactly what they paid for when they come in. They don't want 900 negative reviews from people who feel they were ripped off. |
