| After years of plucking, waxing, threading, nairing, and bemoaning my undesired hairs (lovingly dubbed my "man hairs") I stumbled on a Groupon for this spa. I went click crazy (and damn the consequences) and voila! Today I had my first session (of six). I had Sophie as my technician. The spa itself was clean and attractive and easy to find. There was a discreet back room for the filling of forms (lest anyone catch you in the act) and the table was nice and comfy. Having had extensive tattoos, I was uber-tough about the pain, which was negligable. It stank though! So I held my breath, until Sophie reminded me to breathe, which made me laugh. Generally speaking, Sophie was great. Very calm and straightforward, great bedside manner. I am looking forward to finishing this up in the coming months! All told, the entire experience, including startup paperwork, took half an hour, and was remarkably easy. |
