Ancient Cedars Spa at The Wickaninnish Inn

Located on Vancouver Island's rugged west coast, the Wickaninnish Inn is surrounded by the ocean on three sides and an old growth forest on the fourth. Minutes from the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and Clayoquot Sound, the Inn takes advantage of the stunning local environment with floor-to-ceiling windows in every guest room. The spa also has spectacular views, and the couples' treatment room is located on a deck directly over the water.Several artists and artisans, plus Henry Nolla, a master carver, contributed elements to the Inn's design, which is meant to merge art, culture, and nature. Most of the accommodations and the Ancient Cedars Spa are in the three-story main building, which is made of weathered cedar. Additional guest rooms are in a recently completed building located directly on the beach. Outside of the Inn, many activities are available, from winter storm watching and whale-watching to sea kayaking, beach walks and nature hikes.
